Es el clásico juego de Africa y Medio Oriente. Ha sido practicado durante miles de años en Egipto, encontrándose tableros en diversas excavaciones: en la pirámide de Kheops, en el templo de Luxor y de Kurna. Se estima que tiene mas de 5.500 años de antigüedad y se extendio por toda Asia y Africa,  es un juego agil, divertido y de un tiempo de juego relativamente corto. Presentamos este juego con reglamentos para dos modalidades. El Kampala juego egipcio ideal para los que se inician, los niños, o aquellas personas que disfrutan de los partidos rapidos y estrategicos  (en 2 níveles) y el Wari, también llamado el antiguo ajedrez africano, para quienes intentan nuevos desafios.

Backgammon moderno,  y en la actualidad se sigue jugando. El objetivo del juego es sacar todos los peones del tablero antes que el contrario, obstaculizando su paso. Para mover se utilizan fichas especiales denominadas estacas (equivalente a los dados modernos)
